pen-poised-on-paper.Blank Rome filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit Friday in Florida Southern District Court on behalf of Galanz, a family of Chinese appliance manufacturing companies. The complaint takes aim at Sunbeam Products Inc. over its purported termination of a trademark license agreement authorizing Galanz to use the Oster and Sunbeam marks for microwave ovens and other products. According to the suit, Sunbeam claims that the products were sold outside of the U.S. and Canada in violation of the agreement. The case is 0:21-cv-61871, Guangdong Galanz Microwave Oven and Electrical Appliances Manufacturing Co., Ltd. et al v. Sunbeam Products, Inc.
