In a pandemic era where criminal cases trump civil on many court dockets, litigators and their clients involved in family law disputes are rethinking collaborative law—viewing it not as a competitor, but as a resourceful alternative.

In Florida, for instance, collaborative law mental health experts are pushing for more attorneys to ditch their adversarial courtroom approach, and opt instead to shift their mindset and resolution strategy.
