Last summer was rough for prospective summer associates, with most either having their programs canceled, shortened or moved online. Meanwhile, local firm leaders lamented the loss of in-person mentorship.

A year later, most firms in the area have reinstated their summer programs, with many bringing their law students into the office full-time, while others found reasons to keep their programs remote. We spoke with a handful of South Florida law firm leaders to find out how they’re running their summer programs.
