Judge Beverly Martin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit has been expressing her concern for those serving “needlessly harsh” prison sentences for a long time—often in dissenting opinions.
Martin gave President Joe Biden her notice last week. She told the Daily Report she plans to leave in September and do something more.
