When it comes to male allies and advancing access for women in the legal profession, Florida Third District Court of Appeal Judge Bronwyn Miller believes she has the perfect metaphor.

“It’s like the song in ‘Hamilton,’ about the room where it all happens. Everything happens in the room. It’s all about opportunity and access and being in that room,” Miller said Friday. “Not being in the physical room, to me, represents the cigar hour and the golf course, which have been traditionally male-dominated venues.”
