A second adjunct professor has left Georgetown University Law Center after a video of the two discussing the academic performance of Black students went viral.

Adjunct David Batson resigned from the law school March 12, writing that he is “deeply saddened by the disturbing situation” caused by the recorded conversation between himself and Sandra Sellers, with whom he taught a negotiations seminar. Sellers—who is at the center of the controversy—was fired from the law school the previous day.
