Joel Katz, the founder of Greenberg Traurig’s entertainment practice and its Atlanta office, has resigned from the firm, effective Dec. 31, after being accused of sexual harassment last year by the ousted Grammys chief, Deborah Dugan.

“Joel Katz has, by mutual understanding, resigned from the firm as of December 31, 2020,” said Greenberg’s executive chairman, Richard Rosenbaum, in a statement from the firm Monday. “We thank Mr. Katz for his contributions over the years and have no further comment at this time.”
