In Miami, a federal judge recently issued an administrative order to reconvene grand jury proceedings that have been on pause since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In Administrative Order 2020-87, Chief U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore said in the interest of justice, the Southern District of Florida will sequester each day any grand jurors who report for duty in any federal courthouse within the jurisdiction.
