The attorney sons of legendary Miami criminal defense attorney Ellis Rubin were disqualified from a bankruptcy case last week for failing to disclose and later denying unapproved fee-splitting agreements with a broker and previous representation of a related party.

One of the disqualified attorneys denied the allegations brought against Rubin and Rubin, saying  there was no fee-splitting agreement and it was unthinkable a court could have expected counsel to disclose an agreement that didn’t exist.
