It’s no surprise Susan Trevarthen is a land use attorney. She worked for John DeGrove, the father of Florida growth management, who inspired many to pursue urban planning.
After earning her undergraduate degree, Trevarthen worked for DeGrove as a research assistant at the Florida Atlantic University-Florida International University Joint Center for Environmental and Urban Problems, which he founded. It’s now the FAU Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions.
