When negotiations for an elderly client whose neck was broken in a car crash coincided with nationwide closures over the COVID-19 pandemic in March, Jany Martinez-Ward and Gregory Ward of The Ward Law Group had their work cut out for them.

In the weeks before obtaining a $1.15 million pre-suit settlement, they claim one insurer refused to adjust the claim, deeming it ”too complicated” to process during the virus outbreak.
