Sidley Austin canceled its partner meeting scheduled for next month in Boca Raton in another example of how COVID-19 is roiling the legal industry.
The firm’s 600-plus partners were informed Tuesday that they will not be meeting in person in April, said Michael Schmidtberger, chair of Sidley’s executive committee. The firm has 1,943 lawyers spread across in 20 offices in nine countries.
