Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal found the appellate division of the Miami-Dade Circuit Court erred in denying attorney fees to State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. in litigation over personal injury protection.
The Third DCA quashed an order by the lower court in legal action by Caribbean Rehabilitation Center Inc. and Hialeah resident Reynier Cordoves against State Farm. The case reached the appellate panel following State Farm’s appeal of an order rejecting its motion for attorney fees.
