Two Palm Beach residents didn’t sugarcoat their dislike of Florida’s agricultural practices Tuesday, filing a putative class action lawsuit against dozens of the country’s leading sugar producers for allegedly polluting the air with toxic “black snow” during their preharvest sugarcane burns.
