Holland & Knight Hires Tax Controversy Partner From NextEra Energy

NextEra Energy attorney James Dawson has jumped to Holland & Knight, where he will be a partner based out of the firm’s West Palm Beach office.

Dawson will work in the firm’s 75-attorney South Florida litigation practice. At NextEra, he handled federal tax litigation for the company and its subsidiaries, which include Florida Power and Light. He also led the company’s response to IRS audits.
