Lubell Rosen partner Josh M. Bloom has been promoted to chair of the firm’s labor and employment practice.

Bloom is a civil litigator who handles complex commercial disputes with an emphasis on employment matters.

He joined the law firm in 2010, left for a year with Greenspoon Marder and returned in March. He previously managed the international nonprofit Sangha, aiding impoverished disaster-affected children in Southeast Asia.

Joshua H. Sheskin, an attorney with the 30-attorney firm, has been named trial counsel in the same practice group. He joined the firm in August 2017 as an attorney. His appellate work includes wins in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Florida Supreme Court.

Both are based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. The firm has another office in Coral Gables and recently expanded to Tampa.
