Laura Ganoza has been appointed chair of the litigation practice in Foley & Lardner’s Miami office.
As practice chair, Ganoza oversees litigation with a principal focus on associate and senior counsel development including training and mentoring.
In her practice, she handles complex commercial and intellectual property litigation, including cross-border disputes, trade secret and noncompete actions, and manages trademark and copyright portfolios.
Ganoza is a partner in the firm’s business litigation and dispute resolution; IP litigation; trademark, copyright and advertising; and Latin America practices and is on the firm’s manufacturing industry team.
She is the regional director of the South Florida chapter of Fashion Group International, a 5,000-member global fashion industry nonprofit.
Ganoza has a niche in the fashion industry, helping develop a team that focuses on the fashion, beauty and apparel industries.
