All South Florida courts — including Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Broward county courts as well as the Third District Court of Appeal, Fourth District Court of Appeal and the state supreme court — will be closed Monday in observance of Rosh Hashana, the two-day celebration marking the first day in the Hebrew calendar year.

The closure of Miami-Dade courts was announced Friday.

South Florida courts will also close Sept. 19 to mark Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish faith.

After that, the next closure observes Veterans Day on Nov. 12.
