A 73-year-old Hartford man who sustained serious injuries after falling on an uneven sidewalk in front of a West Hartford pet supplies store has settled his case for $650,000.
George Jorgensen fell forward, with the front of his body cushioning the impact, after he left Pet Supplies “Plus” of Connecticut in July 2016. He landed on his chin, after falling on the sunken sidewalk slab, according to his attorney, Manny Cicchiello, a partner and co-owner of Cicchiello & Cicchiello in Hartford.
