Five weeks after a federal lawsuit was filed against Nestle Waters North America, a copycat suit has been filed detailing the same alleged claims: Poland Spring bottled water doesn’t come from a spring.
The prospective class action filed on behalf of a Los Angeles woman in U.S. District Court Tuesday claims the water is actually bottled ground water. The lawsuit, which seeks $5 million in damages, was filed in the same Connecticut court that 11 consumers filed their suit in last month.
