Stephanie Ma joins Hassett & George and will focus on real estate, land use and civil litigation. Ma is a member of the Connecticut Advisory Council on Housing Matters and is on the board of directors for the Elm City College Preparatory Schools in New Haven.
Rhonda Tobin, a lawyer for Robinson & Cole, has been named one of the Top 250 Women in Litigation for 2017 by Benchmark Litigation. Benchmark Litigation’s Top 250 Women in Litigation recognizes the accomplishments of America’s leading female trial lawyers from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Tobin represents both primary and excess insurers in coverage litigation and reinsurance disputes. In addition to being a member of Robinson & Cole’s Insurance and Reinsurance Group, Tobin co-chairs the firm’s Litigation Section.
Michael Riley joins Pullman & Comley in the firm’s Hartford office. Riley is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practice and will focus on mediation and arbitration services of civil matters in state and federal court, including commercial, construction, employment, environmental, health care, insurance, and probate disputes. Riley served for 13 years as a judge for the Connecticut Superior Court.
Sharon Pope was named special counsel at CzepigaDalyPope. Pope joins the special needs and disability planning practice group. Pope will continue to assist clients and professionals with special-needs trusts, settlement planning, trust administration and public benefit eligibility. Pope was a principal at CzepigaDailyPope.
Gerald Garlick and Linda Clifford Hadley joined Seiger Gfeller Laurie as partners. Garlick will focus on commercial litigation, including representing banks, title insurance companies, corporations, and individuals. Hadley will focus on representing national and community banks, other nonbank lenders and small- to medium-sized businesses. Garlick and Hadley were partners at Krasow Garlick.
