A New Jersey woman’s lawsuit against ABC Television claiming she was severely injured when she tripped over a ramp covering television cables in a darkened Stamford studio during a taping of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” was moved to federal court Monday.

Cheryl Latham—who is also suing Valleycrest Productions, the property manager and owner of the studio building—claims in her 10-page Jan. 19 lawsuit that she tripped over an uneven portion of a ramp “and fell hard to the floor” while being escorted by staff to her seat in the studio.
