A Connecticut FBI agent who sustained injuries in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks will be allowed to proceed with a federal lawsuit in which he claims that he was discriminated against at work and then subject to retaliation when he complained about it.
Special Agent Kurt Siuzdak, who is also an attorney, filed the lawsuit in 2014 in U.S. District Court. Among his claims are that his discrimination complaint led to a retaliatory investigation into his use of his government vehicle and credit card. The lawsuit names U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch as the defendant. U.S. District Judge Victor Bolden denied the defense’s motion to dismiss on March 7.
