The already competitive Connecticut employment law market just gained another major player, as Atlanta-based Ford Harrison has acquired a five-attorney, Hartford-based practice.

The merger between Rose Kallor and the 200-attorney Georgia firm became effective March 1, and is part of FordHarrison’s efforts to expand into the Northeast. Meanwhile, the attorneys at the former Rose Kallor, known for its work in public sector employment matters, especially those involving municipal governments, expect to benefit from the larger firm’s additional resources, particularly its larger staff and cutting-edge technology.
