Jerry Crutchfield v. Stanley Works et al.: A construction worker left partially paralyzed from a nail gun accident received $3.4 million from a jury in Hartford.
Jerry Crutchfield, 51, of Hartford had sued toolmaker Stanley Works and Home Depot, which sold the gun, claiming they were partly liable for injuries he suffered in February 2003 when a nail was embedded in his brain as he worked with a nail gun.
