A Connecticut judge found that a former city of Bridgeport employee is not entitled to back pay after a jury verdict found she was subjected to a hostile work environment but that she failed to prove her sexual harassment claim.

U.S. District Judge Victor A. Bolden of the District of Connecticut denied Lisa Miro’s motion for a hearing for economic damages, ruling that as she failed to prevail on her claim for quid pro quo sexual harassment, she was without remedy to prevail on her hostile work environment claim. The court did, however, find she was entitled to attorney fees and costs totaling $87,080, in a Jan. 26 opinion.
