Counsel for former President Donald Trump on Monday sought leave to appeal a decision by a mid-level state appeals court reinstating gag orders in his civil business fraud case to the New York Court of Appeals.
The Appellate Division, First Department last week revived the limited gag orders, which were first imposed in October and November by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, who is overseeing the trial.
