Attorneys for the Trump Organization on Monday rested their case for the defense in the criminal tax fraud trial of the Trump Organization, though Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan estimated that the jury will not start deliberations for another week.

Closing arguments from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the two Trump entities charged in the case—the Trump Corporation and the Trump Payroll Corporation, which both operated under the umbrella of the Trump Organization—are expected to begin Thursday, after a charging conference Tuesday and a day off Wednesday.
