Two weeks after finding that former President Donald Trump was in civil contempt for his noncompliance with a subpoena from the New York Attorney General’s Office, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron on Wednesday conditionally purged the contempt, ordering Trump to meet a series of conditions by May 20.

Engoron ordered Trump to submit more affidavits detailing his destruction and retention practices and his team’s search for documents responsive to the subpoena, which is related to the AG’s investigation of Trump’s business practices.
