Decrying her offenses as “crimes struck at the heart of the criminal justice system,” a federal judge sentenced ex-Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Sylvia Ash, the former board chair of the Municipal Credit Union, to 15 months in prison on Wednesday.
Ash also was ordered to pay a $80,000 fine, and two years of supervised release, including a special condition of 20 hours of community service per week following her prison term.
