Alex E. Jones, host of “InfoWars,” did not show up for his deposition in Austin, Texas, for the second day in a row on Thursday.

Connecticut Superior Court Judge Barbara N. Bellis denied a renewed motion from Jones’ attorney, Norman A. Pattis, for a protective order that would delay the deposition. In her ruling, Bellis noted that Jones had “by all accounts” broadcasted live from his studio on Monday and Tuesday, and appeared to call in to his show from home on Wednesday and Thursday to discuss topics that included the war in Ukraine.
