Wage-and-employment attorneys will be watching the various twists and turns in a wage dispute with Chip’s Family Restaurants and its workers, after a state judge refused to dismiss the case and issued a mixed ruling, according to plaintiffs co-counsel.
“The significance here is that there are many other cases coming behind this one that will benefit from this ruling and from whatever the jury does,” said plaintiffs co-counsel Rick Hayber of Hayber, McKenna & Dinsmore in Hartford.
