A Connecticut Superior Court judge has ruled that plaintiffs in a wage employment action against 10 Denny’s restaurants in the state will get class certification, a rare ruling in the Nutmeg State, according to attorneys.

In what lawyers believed to be only the sixth time a Superior Court judge has granted class certification in a wage-and-hour case in Connecticut, the plaintiff attorneys for the Denny’s class say the ruling has a message to other employment attorneys and other restaurant chains.
