The testimony of a woman, whom plaintiffs counsel said was injured so badly at a local gym that she underwent four surgeries—was the clinching factor in a Superior Court judge awarding $446,629 in damages, according to her attorney.
But Elizabeth Miskar will not be able to collect the money because the gym owner had no insurance and closed the business because of the judge’s ruling, plaintiffs attorneys Alan Barry and Greg Klein of Alan Barry & Associates in Danbury said.
