With goals of increasing membership, making the Connecticut Bar Association even more diverse and encouraging attorneys to do more pro bono work, attorney Cecil Thomas takes over as president of the association July 1.
Thomas will succeed Amy Lin Meyerson to head the association, which has about 8,500 members. Thomas will serve one year in the non-paying post.
