President Joe Biden early Wednesday announced six more judicial nominees, including three current or former public defenders for seats on federal appeals courts.

Biden selected Chief Judge Gustavo A. Gelpí Jr. of the District of Puerto Rico to sit on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He also picked assistant federal defender Eunice Lee for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and Veronica Rossman, senior counsel for the federal public defender’s office for Colorado and Wyoming, for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
