There is no need to recite what we and the rest of the world have been through in the past year, and are still going through. We acknowledge the terrible losses many families have sustained, and the grieving that will live on when COVID-19 is only a memory.

We must accept the fact that measures such as wearing masks are still required and go a long way towards minimizing the terrible damage this disease can cause. There is also now a need to face the question of the vaccine—or rather, the vaccines—now widely available. What part do they play in our lives? What part should they play?
