The Hartford personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm that last month filed a lawsuit claiming a former associate poached clients to bring to his new law firm has now filed a more detailed amended lawsuit alleging that the attorney had a “nefarious scheme” targeting 103 of the firm’s clients.

In the 23-page amended lawsuit, filed Thursday evening in Hartford Superior Court, Cicchiello & Cicchiello alleges Alexander Sarris worked on the list of clients while still employed at the firm to bring “the most attractive and valuable workers’ compensation files” to his new firm, with the help of two lawyers at his new firm.
