U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett, filling out her new chambers, has chosen four clerks: three who have prior clerkships with the court’s conservative justices and one from her time on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

• Nick Harper, who clerked for Justice Anthony Kennedy in the October 2017 term, was also a former clerk to then-Judge Brett Kavanaugh on the D.C. Circuit. Harper and other former Kavanaugh clerks worked in support of Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. Harper is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School.
