The Criminal Justice Commission late Thursday chose Sharmese Walcott, a former assistant state’s attorney with the Hartford State’s Attorney’s Office, to lead that office.
The commission voted 6-1 for Walcott at about 7 p.m. Thursday, after meeting all day, interviewing the four candidates for the job, and listening to comments from the public.
