A Kasowitz Benson Torres partner who advocated against President Donald Trump’s impeachment has joined the White House as a senior adviser to the president, court records show.
Eric Herschmann served as a public defender of the president’s during the impeachment trial in the U.S. Senate, which focused on Trump’s bid to pressure the Ukrainian government to open an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden and his family.
