A Cheshire-based social worker has entered into a joint federal/state settlement in a case of alleged Medicaid fraud, and will pay $145,855 and be suspended from participating in the state’s Medicaid program for three years.
The False Claims Act settlement, in which Patricia McAlinden does not admit liability, is to resolve allegations that she submitted false claims for psychotherapy services for children who were Medicaid recipients.
