A federal judge in Alexandria, Virginia, has postponed Paul Manafort’s bank and tax fraud trial by about a week after defense attorneys said they needed more time to review documents handed over by prosecutors.
Judge T.S. Ellis III did not give an explanation for his ruling Monday, but jurors will still report to the court Wednesday for questionnaires. The trial of President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman is now set for July 31.
