Miguel Alexander Pozo started with Duane Morris as a partner in the firm’s trial practice group this month. Pozo is no stranger to the firm—he hired Duane Morris as outside counsel when he was working in his last job as the deputy general counsel and head of litigation at Mercedes-Benz USA.
Pozo worked in private practice for 17 years with Lowenstein Sandler before joining the Atlanta-based automotive company in 2015. In the last four or five years of his tenure with his former firm, he counted Mercedes-Benz USA as a client. During that time, as outside counsel, he built a rapport with the legal team and company executives, and they invited him to join the company to lead its litigation team.
