The U.S. Department of Justice’s Fraud Section has said Friday will be the last day at work for compliance counsel Hui Chen, who was hired nearly two years ago as a contract adviser to bring an in-house compliance counsel viewpoint to the department.

Chen was the first lawyer to hold the new post, but DOJ plans to continue the concept. The department is advertising for a replacement for Chen, “seeking a successor to continue Ms. Chen’s excellent work in strengthening the section’s compliance program,” a DOJ spokesman said.
