Ohio State University and its office of general counsel have become embroiled in a burgeoning sexual abuse scandal that now has touched a prominent member of Congress.

Some OSU victims alleged on NBC News this week that Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives who served as an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State from 1987 to 1995, knew about the abuse at the time. Some victims said they talked about the abuse with Jordan, who denied the claims.
