PepsiCo Inc. this week acknowledged its connections to an Indonesia company that a human rights group has accused of “years-long exploitation” of workers on palm oil plantations.

The company’s statement outlined steps PepsiCo is taking to resolve the human rights complaint. But the group, Rainforest Action Network, countered that PepsiCo’s actions do not go nearly far enough to eliminate conflict palm oil from many of its products.
