WeWork, the New York-based, co-working giant, has promoted in-house legal lead Jen Berrent to chief operating officer. She joined the company as general counsel in 2014 and was later promoted to chief legal officer and chief culture officer. “An agent of positive change at WeWork even before she officially joined the team, Jen will continue to help us reimagine what WeWork—and indeed what a company—can be,” WeWork said in its announcement.
A WeWork spokeswoman said Berrent was not available for an interview and forwarded an announcement sent to WeWork employees about the promotion.
