In-house counsel salaries are up, according to a report released Thursday from executive search and consulting firm BarkerGilmore. And yet, similar to the results from last year’s version of the same report, roughly 40 percent of the nearly 1,600 in-house counsel respondents expressed some dissatisfaction with their compensation, believing they are paid less than their peers.

The “2017 In-House Counsel Compensation Report” looked at responses from 1,580 in-house counsel throughout the United States, who responded to a 17-question online survey between March and May of this year.
