The Wendy’s Co. announced Wednesday it has hired E.J. Wunsch as its new general counsel and secretary. He is set to step into the role at the Dublin, Ohio-based company on Oct. 3.
Wunsch most recently served as the GC of the Procter & Gamble Co.’s North America business. He joined the Cincinnati consumer products company 17 years ago and has held various positions within the legal department, including a stint in Singapore overseeing the company’s patent, trademark and advertising issues throughout Asia. He’s also worked on the company’s M&A team and been the associate GC for securities, corporate governance and employee benefits law.
